Cookie information

Your choices about cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies and other browser storage

A cookie is a small record kept by the browser. Websites may also use localStorage and sessionStorage, which are not HTTP cookies. Their purpose, contents and duration matter too. This information distinguishes the application’s own records from storage that optional services may create.

Your choices

Analytics and advertising are off by default. You can allow both, refuse both or choose the categories independently. Reopen your choices using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Refusing optional categories is not a condition for submitting the inquiry form.

If your browser prevents storage, the choice remains in the open page’s memory and we ask again when you reopen the page. Saving a new choice renews its timestamp. Your browser choice applies to that browser and website origin, not automatically to other devices.

The application’s own records

The localStorage record webtailor:measurement-consent:v1 contains only the analytics and advertising choices, a version number and the saved and expiry times. A choice is recognised for 180 days after it was last saved. An expired or invalid record is removed only when the page next reads it and the browser allows storage access; nothing is deleted in the background.

After the server confirms acceptance of an inquiry, the inquiry page may store webtailor:accepted-receipt:v1 in sessionStorage. It contains only a random acceptance identifier, version and timestamp so that the acknowledgement can be shown again without resubmitting the inquiry. It is valid for one hour. An expired or invalid record is removed when the acknowledgement page or application next reads it, where the browser permits storage access. It contains no contact details or message.

Visitor statistics

Where optional statistics are enabled for the environment and you allow it, the application may send a limited set of events: page views, contact-button clicks, form starts, form errors and server-confirmed inquiries. The application removes URL query strings and fragments and does not include the form’s name, email, message or website address in event content.

Technical identifiers and connection information received by a provider are not necessarily anonymous. Optional statistics are currently switched off on this website.

Advertising

Advertising is a separate choice from statistics. It is not consent to receive marketing emails. No advertising service is currently activated on the website. If advertising measurement or targeting is introduced later, we will name the actual partners, purposes, storage and recipients before asking for consent.

Changing or removing a choice

You can withdraw your choice through the same footer link. This stops further optional events for the refused category and, where a service is active, updates the consent signal sent to it. Withdrawal does not retrospectively change the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Changing a choice does not automatically delete cookies previously created by third parties or information already sent. Remove browser records through your browser’s site-data settings, or email ian@webtailor.ee about data rights. After clearing site data, the website may ask for your choice again.

More information

The website’s two application records are described above. Hosting and access protection may also use cookies needed to operate the service. Optional statistics and advertising services are not currently activated.
